M.D. Smith is an office administrator, entrepreneur, teacher, mentor, creative writer (published,) activist, motivational speaker, and retired professional basketball player. She graduated from Lynn Classical High School(1982) and Brown University (1986), completing a dual major in Organizational Behavior & Management and African

American Studies.

M.D. Smith is Founder & Consultant, dba Mission Possible:Collaborative (Est. 1990). M.D. Smith's personal strengths are attention to details, creative thinking, excellent oral & written communication / interpersonal / organizational / public relations / time management skills. Additionally, M.D. Smith is fluent in Conversational Spanish & Portuguese. MP:C has (3) subsidiaries:  (i) S.T.R.I.V.E. (1990) Success Through Resilience Imagination Values Education is a college scholarship fund & entrepreneurship training program for urban youth (10-16) & young adults (17-22) of color. (ii) M.D. Smith Publications (2002) — a marketing & p.r. entity that promotes the published creative writings of M.D. Smith and talented, creative writers identified by M.D. Smith Publications (iii) C.A.S.H., Inc. (2018)— Cash 
Asset Services Holdings, Inc. is a restructured subsidiary that will develop residual cash flow from the intellectual property of MP:C. 

M.D. Smith’s professional certifications include the Mass Mentoring Partnership and the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship (nka Network For Teaching Entrepreneurship [NFTE]).
M.D. Smith’s personal philosophy is “I’m a student of life and a lifelong student.” M.D. Smith’s community activities span through her residential, college alumni, and professional communities. She has (25) + years of experience with youth & young adults from all walks of life. She is an active & passionate supporter of the arts, culture, education, and history; Brown Student Alumni Network, Brown Alumni Schools Committee, Brown University Entrepreneurship Program, and Inman Page Council. 

For leisure, M.D. Smith enjoys spending quality time with family & friends, attending arts & cultural events, basketball, biking, creative writing, movies (especially classics), reading, tennis, traveling, and walking.
